Aegina offers the most urban energy of the day. The waterfront is ideal for a last stroll, a quick pistachio purchase, or a simple harbor wander before the return to Athens.
Aegina played an important role in Greece’s early modern history and remains one of the Saronic Gulf’s best-known islands. Its harbor, market life, and neoclassical traces make it feel both practical and storied.
If you shop, keep an eye on the time and choose a meeting point before you split up. The harbor is easy to navigate, but it is still best to return a little early.
